Applications

Bismaleimide resins are known for their high-strength and high-temperature performance. Their performance lies between lower temperature resistant epoxy systems and very high temperature-resistant polyimides. They are widely used as matrix resins for high-performance (fiber-reinforced) composites in electronic and aerospace industries. They also find applications as high performance adhesives. Very often these reactive polymers require high curing temperatures of more than 150°C and long curing times.

Applications

Bismaleimide (1,1′-(Methylenedi-4,1-phenylene)bismaleimide) is used as a plastic modifier for ABS , PVC, PVA and other engineering plastics to improve heat-resistant, anti-oxidant and anti-fouling properties.

GP-205 (Bismaleimide) is a polyimide resin building block. GP-205 (Bismaleimide) used for the production of heat resistant carbon fiber components and H grade or F grade electrical insulating materials and is used in aviation, space flight, electric power, electronics, computer, communication, motor vehicles, etc. applications. Examples include:
1. Electrical insulation materials and high temperature resistance paints and so on.
2. Advanced compound material resin, aviation and space flight materials and other functional materials.
3. Project plastic as: Polypropylene PP, nylon PA, ABS, APC, PVC, PBT, EPDM, PMMA strength enhanced modifier agent.
4. Wear resistant material, diamond wheel etc.
